MGCC BRITISH MOTOR HERITAGE 4 HOUR RELAY RACE, SNETTERTON 5TH OCTOBER

Me too, weather looks good, however I have unfortunately pulled my back a couple of days ago still not the best and with my history of slipped discs I have to take it very easy. I will be ok for the race. But I might need a hand with things like changing tyres, lifting trailer ramps etc. Oh and drinking port.

Just seen that we are team 12, I thought we where 11? I may have read it wrong so am check later. Bill I will be on my own this weekend, don't know if I will leave Fri night or Sat morning, so if you want to collect the tickets as before when you are passing.

My tickets arrived yesterday and the garage sheet is different to the previous copy I had and has us as team 12???????????????

I will check with MGCC and see whats happened!

Just been checking their website at:

they have amended the forms and so it looks as if we are now number 12, the V8 Wide Boys team has been recently entered and made No 11 now and AR Motorsport have been removed from the 12 slot to be replaced by us !!???

The bloke who is in our garage (No 12) is in the MG Trophy race, which is the last race of Saturday, so hopefully we will be able to move into the garage Saturday evening.

Be aware we will all have to attend a new to circuit drivers briefing, as well as the race briefing.

We are sharing the garage with the team that are likely to be the fastest entered.

Not long now, I've not been this excited about a race for a long time

The weather forecast is still looking good (rain Saturday afternoon to clean the track, then dry with sunny spells on Sunday. Not too windy and nice and cool for Ian's Fiesta).

I believe Sumo is doing one of his chilli's and I will be taking a micro-wave to warm it up. There will be tea, coffee etc and biscuits, but can people please bring their own mugs, utensils, etc.

Looking forward to it to im just hoping the fezza is sorted

One car with overheating/ignition problems
One car with an engine of dubious reliability
and
One car that's reliable, but the driver has a slipped disc

Lol we did the Birkett back in 2008 our rival triumph team was down to one car with 2 hours to go ! They took the decision to run the last car just giving it a splash and dash of fuel ! It finished and never missed a beat the only catch that the engine that was in the aforementioned GT6 was a £14000 mass engine. The driver was exhausted

Well done chaps! I have you as 15th overall and first in class! Great result all round..... and to think, you could have been on a six car grid at Oulton Park instead! ;0)

Lol mate the results does not begin to tell the story wait for the reports but Eds Tiger could have quite easly ended up being the only car left.
