PLUM PUDDING MEET - MALLORY PARK - BOXING DAY
This is an annual event at Mallory Park, which attracts the second largest crowd of spectators (only surpassed by the BSB event). Its a great event with a mixture of car and motorbike (including sidecar) races. The course car is a reindeer sled and the Clerk of the Course goes round in it after every race dressed as Father Christmas!
There are two sports car races and two saloon car races. The grid for the first race is decided by receipt of entries, and the second race is by the reversed results of the first race. It's a great fun event, with a great atmosphere thanks to the time of the year and the crowds of spectators on the banks and in the paddock.
Entry fee is just £110 for the 15 min practice and the two 15 min races, and generally also includes a chocolate santa at signing on
If you require the regs and entry form, e-mail me at rafmsaracingatgmail.com (but substitute at with @)

Entry went in the post today
Going in the Mk2, to see how she fares round Mallory. Have a cracked exhaust, leaking sump gasket, and loose alternator mount to sort following Snetterton, so if these are all fine at Mallory, she is all sorted for next season.
Ed /John, are you coming out to play for this one?

Re: PLUM PUDDING MEET - MALLORY PARK - BOXING DAY
In keeping with work 'tradition' I am again working on Boxing Day.
7 yeas in a row.
If recruitment pans out I may have half a chance next year.

Hi Ed
Are buying a turn-key engine, or are you going to build it up yourself?

Re: PLUM PUDDING MEET - MALLORY PARK - BOXING DAY
Well after all your teasing I plan to do a full strip down and rebuild myself. But I will have a man to keep an eye on progress. I havnt sold the Tiger so if it takes longer for the new car and engine to mate or if I am out of my depth I have the Tiger as a plan b. I don't want to go into any more details at the mo incase my plan falls flat on its face.
