Cheap Toyo R888Rs

If anyone needs cheap tyres, Oponeo are doing Toyo R888Rs (i.e. the new ones) for £78 each in 195/50/15 - inc VAT and with free delivery! Cheaper than R888s... Madness!

Good price but I have not heard any reviews on these yet, has anyone on here used them ?

They are supposed to be a redesign rather than a revamp, but that could just be corporate bullshit.
Apparently, people had been complaining of the 888s going off too soon, so the new tyres have less tread which apparently gives 16% rubber on the ground and a corresponding better temp stabilisation. They are also supposed to have better steering response. They also have better noise emmisions and some other better ratings which allows them to be E marked.

Ok I assumed as they where greenish that meant they where crapish

Just ordered some 888Rs from these people nearly £20 per tyre cheaper than Demon Tweeks on the 205 60 13
