Every so often I like to search for "project car" on e-bay and see whats around. Last Friday before I went home, I had a quick look and a Reliant Rebel took my eye, it was fully stripped down partly restored and needed rebuilding, and was £600 with a spare good engine or £500 with just a knackered engine. Looking further into this and they were only 650kg! plus they had a two prototypes with Ford Crossflows in them, but they never went into production because they were faster than the top of the range Scimitars! Consequently, would have been nice to remake one of the Ford powered ones, or just a nice tax-exempt retro-rod with a modern engine. Unfortunately, there was only a couple of hours left on it and I didn't send a message to get any contact details Sad

I like things that are generally ugly/unloved, but have lots of character.

That goes for some people I know as well Laughing
