Which Pads?
Which pads (no not the lady type) brake pads,
I have been using green stuff and find them OK no brake fade etc but wandered if it is worth spending a few more ££s as thats all i have ever used. I would prefer more initial bite.
so which would you have on a 600kg car?
EBC green stuff
Mintex 1144
Ferrodo DS2500
or any others I should think of?

Re: Which Pads?
Im on Ferodo DS3000 but I have only used them once at them Plum Pud so cant really give you an Honest opinion seem ok though.
EBC are alright but now they don't discount I think there are better options.
Mintex 1144 I used to run on my old Spitfire (684KG) and I thought they were Mega they used to last a season and half to.
The ones I destroyed in 60 minutes at the Heritage Relay race were Wilwoods own pads but in there defence they were great other than there wear rate.
What calipers do you use.

Re: Which Pads?
I have allways used green stuff and found them to be more than adequate.
However, as Ian has said we no longer get the discount, so next time I need pads I will be looking at the wider market, but have no idea yet what else to use.
