..for free, don't ask but someone owed me a favour, do you think it will be worth mounting on the ice cream van or should I just sell it on? Are they any good I have just brought a generator.

I was having a conversation with somebody reference these a couple of weeks ago. He had one on his camper and reckons its good for keeping the leisure batterys topped up his also compliments this with a couple of solar panels. He then went on to tell me that he also uses very low consumption appliances like a compressor fridge. Not sure it could replace a generator though. Plus if you bring a generator to the racing with you im quite likley to strangle you with the cord as the noise drives me insane. Very Happy Twisted Evil

So to summarise, if I get a solar panel it could do the job but if it doesn't l will have to use the generator and wrestle with a brummiew, what dreams are made of Laughing

There is a bloke in our village who has got a wind generator thingy its always going like the clappers, he also has his house completely covered in solar panels, and he also has a six foot fence all round with barbed wire on top.
Irene and I recon he is a grower Shocked Shocked
Anyway Ed you don't need anything like that you can just despatch a man to buy you a new fully charged leisure battery.
Very Happy Very Happy
