INVITE FROM CASTLE COOMBE

Just had the following invite from Jo at Castle Coombe:

We will be running the CCRC Open Sports vs Saloons “fun” race on our Grand Finals race day on the 10th October. Entry fee is only £125 for a single race or £100 for a second race!! There will be a garland for the outright winner along with trophies 1st in all classes. We will also be awarding all of the class winners a £50 money off voucher to be used during the 2016 race season! ELIGIBLE CARS:-

Any Saloon car, Sports car, Kit car, GT car of any age or specification as defined in the MSA year book nomenclature & definitions section B.
Specifically Sports Racing Cars are ineligible. All cars must as a minimum comply with MSA safety requirements as defined in section ( J ) & ( K ) of the year book.
TYRES are completely free irrespective of type. SILENCING all cars must comply with noise level “A” = 105dba static at ¾ max rpm.

CLASSES

A. Sports & GT cars up to 2000cc
B. Sports & GT cars over 2001cc
C. Saloon cars up to 1800cc
D. Saloon cars over 1801cc

For all classes the co-efficient for forced induction including hybrids is 1.7. If you would like to join us please contact me and I put the entry for you.

The entry list looks quite good already, so its a shame this clashes with the 4hr relay race at Snetterton. I will ask her to keep us posted on any similar events for next season.
